Southcentre Mall

Welcome to Canyon Dental

We are Canyon Dental Centre and are conveniently found inside Southcentre Mall at the intersection of Anderson Road and Macleod Trail. Inside the mall we are on the lower level located just across from Sportchek.

We’ve been here since 1992 and we are a general dental practise.

The phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” is absolutely true. That means a video is worth a million words… so click on ours. It’s right above and it will help you learn a little more about us.

You have probably checked other dental offices online and are no doubt reeling from over-information. We have tried to make our website simple to navigate and not too wordy. Anyone of our thousands of patients will tell you that we are friendly and caring. We are family-oriented and try our best to make treatment options simple to understand and affordable. Our hygiene department is second to none and we accept your insurance plans directly.

Have a look around…

Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Robin Espino

I want to live in a world where people don’t have to lie about flossing daily (because they actually do it every day!)

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology (Honours) from the University of Alberta I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 2008.

Since graduation, I have worked only at Canyon Dental Centre. I love every minute of it…. except Mondays. I stay home on Mondays but I’ll work every other Saturday.

Outside of the clinic, I have volunteered in dental missions in South America and Southeast Asia and have attended continuing education courses on various dental topics.

For recreation, you can find me either snowboarding, weight training or laying on the couch watching my favourite team, the Edmonton Oilers, lose at hockey.

Dr. Cheryl Graas

Dr. Graas received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 2010. Soon after she settled in Calgary and joined the Canyon Dental team!

Dr. Graas enjoys taking all types of continuing education and keeping up on the latest dental topics.

She is an avid Flames fan, a volunteer for the Calgary and District Dental Society and frequently travels abroad on dental missions.

Dr. Bob Ronaghan

Dr. Ronaghan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 1984 which, if you do the math, means that he’s been around for awhile. I’m not saying that he’s seen EVERYTHING but he’s probably seen A LOT during his rather lengthy career (if you know what I mean).

When he’s not healing teeth and doling out dental wisdom, Dr. Ronaghan enjoys a rousing game of golf for which he, at certain times, can become quite animated about.
