You can protect yourself and your family from acid attacks by eating a balanced diet high in grains, fruits, vegetables, protein and low-fat dairy or dairy substitute products. When checking food labels, be aware of hidden sugars. If you’re feeling peckish throughout the day, we recommend skipping the sugar-laden cupcakes, cookies, and pizza and opting for foods that promote healthy teeth and body, such as cheese, yoghurt, milk, and xylitol-containing chewing gum.
