Born and raised in Calgary, Dr, Byron Lee is happy to be working in his hometown at Canyon Dental Centre. Dr. Lee attended the University of Calgary, where he studied Biological Sciences for three years prior to gaining early acceptance to the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Alberta. During his studies at the University of Alberta, Dr. Lee was the recipient of an MH Garvin Scholarship in Dentistry, a Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, and the recipient of the DENT-STAR undergraduate prize. These awards were given based on academic achievement and contribution to research.
Dr. Lee has served in dental mission trips with the Kindness in Action group, aimed at helping to provide for the underprivileged communities in areas such as the Amazon Basin. Dr. Lee is a strong believer in patient-centred care and always strives to provide his patients with the highest quality dental care.
Dr. Lee is fluent in both English and Cantonese.
In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys playing golf, volleyball, and catching up on the latest Netflix series.
