Dr. Jerry Thomas has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. He is a general dentist who has a strong passion for all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Thomas performs the majority of the wisdom teeth extractions in our office, from simple extractions to more complicated situations involving very impacted teeth. He also performs a wide variety of other surgical procedures, minimizing the frequency at which patients require referrals to other facilities for their surgical procedures. Dr. Thomas takes pride in providing exceptional oral treatment in a comfortable, caring manner.
Dr. Thomas has a long history as an assistant Clinical Director at the University of Alberta Hospital (1997-2010) and has simultaneously served as an associate professor at the University of Alberta Dentistry Program. Presently, he is an associate professor at the University of Alberta school of dentistry and a CCD director. His professional memberships include Alberta Dental Association & College, and Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Thomas serves the communities of Calgary, Edmonton, Spruce Grove and La Crete, Alberta. When he is not busy serving his patients, Dr. Thomas is passionate about photography and music. Family is at the heart of everything he does, and he loves spending time with his four children.
